MEET THE FAM

I am so very excited to introduce y'all to Mouse Momma! My name is Beth, and my love and obsession for Disney goes wayyyy back to, well, basically, my whole life. Experiencing Disney with a family of my own is a dream come true! Blogging about Disney and sharing my ideas, thoughts, inspirations, tips, and so much more has been another dream of mine. I think the best way to get started is to give y'all a little background on our Disney fam, so here we goooo! (insert Peter Pan voice)

Again, my name is Beth. I was born and raised in South Louisiana, "from the bayou," is what we say down here. I grew up vacationing at Walt Disney World with my parents and sister. Three of my favorite attractions: Splash Mt., The Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean, go all the way back to my first trip as a child. By high school, I began traveling with friends to see the mouse, as well. When I started college, I went through sorority recruitment and pledged Phi Mu. It was in my sisterhood that I met my big sis, Erin. We clicked almost immediately, and our infatuations for Disney definitely played as the catalyst of our relationship. It was also in college that I met my, now, fiancé, Ronnie.

While, certainly, not the Prince Charming I expected... Ronnie is everything I could have wished for and more. When I met Ronnie, he had been to Disney World a few times throughout his childhood with his family, but he was not obsessed, and he certainly couldn't tell you a dole whip from an Auntie Gravity's soft serve. Since we've met, Ronnie has been to WDW more times in the past 4 1/2 years than he has in his entire life. Ronnie's biggest obsession in life is spearfishing, with hunting coming in a very close second. Living so close to the Gulf of Mexico, we spend most of our summer weekends out on the water. Ronnie gets to spearfish, and I get a good tan. So, it's a win- win. Just like Disney. People love to say, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach." One of Ronnie's favorite aspects of the Disney capital of the world is the food. His favorite quick service being Casey's Corner (yummmm) and his favorite table service is Coral Reef (No surprise there). I get a trip to Disney and he gets to eat his heart away. Win- win. Even more than the food though, Ronnie (and me also) love watching our sweet boy, Anthony have a total blast.

Anthony is my step son. He's six years old and has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. I had the pleasure of meeting Anthony just before his second birthday, and he has only been making my life sweeter since. He is absolutely crazy about Disney. So much, in fact, that he aspires to become a Disney Imagineer when he grows up. (I know, heart melted...) Anthony probably has at least 8 piggy banks and he says they are all for saving his money to go to Disney World. One of them, specifically, only holds quarters and shiny pennies with the purpose of collecting pressed pennies through out the parks. Seeing him enjoy his way around the kingdoms, and even his love for Disney at home is so rewarding. I am soooo looking forward to seeing him enjoy Disney with Anna. Speaking of...

Our newest addition to our family is our daughter, Anna. To many's surprise, it is not pronounced like Princess Anna of Arendale. Just born this past October, we are all patiently waiting for her first trip to Disney. We've already been introducing Disney any way we can through movies, books, plush animals, nursery decor, and of course, outfits!

So, I think this pretty much gives you a good jist about me and my family and a little more insight to our Disney background. I will mention each of them throughout my blog post quite frequently. In doing so, you will definitely get to know us so much more.
